流媒体平台的兴起:以Netflix 为例

Abstract

本文以Netflix为例研究了流媒体平台兴起的原因:个性推荐算法和制作高质量电视节目。首先,Netflix的推荐算法,为用户提供个性化定制的观看内容,推荐算法不仅提高了用户发现新内容的便利性,也加强了用户与平台的黏性,促使了用户长时间停留和忠实度的提高。Netflix使用算法来话语地将观众定位为消费者,即算法只是向观众提供他们已经告诉算法他们想要消费的内容。其次,Netflix的高质量电视节目制作是另一个兴起的重要因素。Netflix在原创节目制作上的投入并与知名导演、编剧和演员的合作,以及对创新和多样性的扶持,制作出一系列备受观众喜爱的影视作品。此外,Netflix的订阅模式意味着Netflix可以更自由地更“有质量”的故事。由于在线订阅模式,Netflix制作的节目内容不受网络和有线电视的限制,这样的节目可以为观众突破艺术界限,形成了高质量电视节目的建设。综上所述,推荐算法和优质电视是有助于理解电视流媒体快速崛起的重要因素。
