Abstract
地理信息系统是科学技术发展下衍生出的产物，将其应用在城市设计工作中，可以更好地提升设计质量，强化设计水平，保障设计者可以在可视化、动态性环境中对城市合理设计。基于此，下文将说明地理信息系统以及城市设计的概述，并提出地理信息系统于城市设计中的优点，最后阐述地理信息在城市设计工作中的应用，希望通过笔者的探索，可以为相应工作人员提供建议。
